this approach

My teaching is influenced by my Hatha training with the British Wheel and by the Kashmir tradition and teachings of Scaravelli, both subtle approaches in which we avoid end gaining and really feel the postures from moment to moment, exploring the asanas effects.

Practicing the Yoga postures and breathing exercises in this way not only strengthens and tones the body, but improves the flow of energy - regulating the body and breath, and bringing stillness to the mind.
When the posture is really understood it becomes meditation. Here we no longer emphasize the the body but our awareness.

Everyone can practice this form of yoga, as it is completely suitable for beginners and those of real experience.

"Meditation is to be aware of every thought and of every feeling, never to say it is right or wrong but just to watch it and move with it. In that watching you begin to understand the whole movement of thought and feeling. And out of this awareness comes silence." Krishnamurti
